The best Mexican in Springfield (or anywhere else) despite some of the other comments. The Burrito Enchilada Style is to die for, as is the hot sauce (which for years was their only sauce). I prefer the original location on National and Bennett.

After recently moving to Springfield, we tried the Mexican Villa the first weekend we were here. It came highly recommended, and we left highly disappointed. The food was disgusting! The tamales, if you can call them that, were straight out of a can and my husband's still had paper on it! The other thing on my plate was supposed to be an enchilida but it all tasted the same. The service was great but the food... well it was so bad we went to Taco Bell afterwards and that was better! I'm just trying to figure out why so many people like it, I guess they've never had real mexican food before. They don't even have chimichigas, fajitas or margaritas there. The chips were stale and the salsa, if you can even call it that, was like ketchup.

I can't enven call this Mexican food.... it was all from a can and all real bad. The stuff people call salsa is not salsa, it's spiced up tomato sauce. Never again...

One of several in the chain in Springfield, Missouri. Food at this particular store is fair and not up to the usual as found at the original store on National Avenue. Will not venture to this store again saving my tastebuds for the National Avenue store.

A mexican type atmosphere. Several location choices in town from authentic mexican to a nice dine in service. If you go near SMSU...expect an SMSU crowd! Very good food!

I live in Springfield and I would recamend this resturant to any one the prices are good and the food is excellent! There hot sauce is the best!
