I live in Denver, and the only thing that I miss about Indepence(KCMO)
other than my parents is Fun House Pizza. I grew up there and the only
taste for true flavor is in the sauce. All other Fun Houses don't
have the recipe for the sauce. This place is the original and there's
no other place like it. I could go on, on, on about this place.

This is the best pizza in the world. I have been eating there for 30+ years,
and now live in Texas, but everytime I go to Independence I have gotta
go there. Tons of toppings, real cheese, beery tasting crust that is
cooked crisp (not soggy).

Fun House is not what it used to be. At this point, the only reason
to go there is to remember the past and to let your kids play video
games while waiting for the pizza to come. There is no particular
area where this restaurant excels. For FUN, kids would prefer
the Pizza place formerly known as Show-biz, and for higher quality
food, well, your choices are fairly open.

My wife had told me so many wonderful things about this place before
my first visit, that I couldn't wait to go. Great pizza, games,
and a full bar. Well, maybe I needed to experience it 15 years ago
to appreciate it. The pizza is good, but the games are old and so
is the paint. This place could use some updating. As for the food
and service, both are superb. Great place to relive old memories.

Its the pizza parlor for adults. Remember chucky cheese as a kid.
Well this is the adult version. Its great pizza, smoker friendly,
and has video games for all us adults that refuse to grow up. It
is well worth the trip if your in the mood for pizza

I too remember 20-30 years ago when there was a live band every
weekend, dancing, beer drinking and some fights. But we've all
gotten older and mellower. A live band would be nice again. But
the pizza hasn't changed! It is as delicious today as it was back
then. We travel 38 miles one way to eat here. Their Canadian Bacon,
cheese and Italian Sausage pizza is the best.

I agree with the other review about Fun House. I remember the days
when the neon lights beamed off the highly decorated walls, the
band played on, the adults filled the tables with pitchers of
beer and I on the electronic horse. Now, the bands are gone, the
horses are worn down and the crowds have changed. But one thing
still remains after all these years. Good Pizza! Whether you
get take out or dare to dine in the pizza is still great, you can
also find jalepeno poppers, wings and of course the wide selection
of beer. This is a family friendly place, they offer regular drinks
too and many games too.

Only a reflection of bygone days. The Funhouse used to feature
dancing with live bands and a great night out. Now it is a moderately
decent place for your kids b-day with a few games and such but,
not even close to the original. I'd like to see it come back to its
intended state. The pizza is marginal at best and the service
reflects the attitude of kids with no future.
