I have to admit a bias that a friend drug me here for my first "real"
taste of Japanese food. So the memories and my fondness for sushi
and other non-Western foods being stoked here makes it one of
my favorite places to eat.

The sushi selections is one of the best I've found in Ohio
and the quality has never dissapointed me.

I have come to enjoy the bbq Eel and would recomend it.
Great sushi and quality sashimi (fresh). Tempura and grilled
fish are also awesome. Limited wine list but it does include some
good cold sake choices, try some with one or several the roe selections.
the atmosphere is a little reserved and kind of family/general
public oriented, whereas I prefer a more cosmopolitan "fast
paced" type atmosphere, but there is a high comfort level
here due to the good food and nice staff. I lived in Columbus years
ago and visit once in awhile. the chef/owner was always well respected
among local chefs. It is good to see that his abilities and talent
have not diminished.
all types of food are great here, but i go for the best sushi in central
ohio. 'salt-grilled' fish is also a treat. the freshness and
quality are unsurpassed. the variety is large. seasonal specialties
are often available. if you express your interest in japanese
food, you may hear about something not of the menu.
