We had gone to Rossino's for many many years. We will miss the people
and the place. The Zimmerman family was so sweet, we wonder how they
all are doing. Best of luck to them.

This restaurant is a classic St. Louis pizzaria that is sadly closing
it's doors in April after serving pizza in the area for over 50 years.
It's a must visit for anyone who's been to St. Louis. If you've
been there before, make sure to stop by before it's gone.

My fiancee and I had dinner to go last week. We heard about the restaurant
from a friend and loved the atmosphere. The pizza was awesome!
We ordered a pasta dish which left something to be desired but
the dinner salads were delicious. We will definately go back
for a cozy dinner in the restaurant.

This place is one of the best date restaurants in STL. The atmoshpere
is ideal for setting that intimate mood that I was looking for.
Try to get a cozy booth and order a bottle of wine and you'll
have all the ingredients for a romantic evening.

This is indeed a quaint little basement place. After reading
the above reviews I have to say that it probably isn't the cleanest
place in the world. I would also have to agree that the pasta isn't
the best (probably an understatement). HOWEVER, the pizzas
are TERIFFIC. Don't make the mistake of eating here and ordering
anything else. It is thin crust served in a rectangular pan. Some
of the best pizza I've ever had. The ceasar salad was OK, and my
friend ALWAYS gets the fried mushrooms. They are different that
the usual, they are HUGE, not greasy, just barely fried. It's
hard to explain, but they are great. Ask for the butter sauce to
dip them into. I like this place alot.

Food is adequate although somewhat different than the Italian
fare I am used to. The restaurant is located in the cellar of an
apartment building. Lighting is low and so is the ceiling. It
is a dining experience in a quaint ethnic restaurant.

I ate there the other day. The experience was horrible. The food
has no reason to be classified as Italian. I think the returnies
are going back purely for the nostalgia. Sort of like going to
White Castle once or twice a year. I ordered lasagna...never
saw anything like that before. It was greasy, gooey with cheese,
limp noodles drowned in a bland marinara sauce served in a very hot
bowl that had be in a broiler to make it that way! Then SEVERAL
mice scurried across my dates feet was all that we could take.
We left terribly disappointed! Also, when we reported the varmits
we were told it happens all the time...don't worry...they are
friendly and are hungry too! WHATEVER!! No, we won't be back!!
