I have eaten here only rarely in recent times. But, back in the 60s and
70s, this was the place to go to eat pizza and pasta in a fun atmosphere.
Its nice to see a "mom & pop" restaurant endure in the
face of so many chain restaurants. It is unlikely that any chain restaurant
could develop the kind of character you find at the IV.

I had the pizza here and i have never eaten so much pizza in my life...this
place looks like a popular spot to check out in carbondale..i
strongly recommend it...and when you go...don't forget
to bring a good gel pen...(you'll see why when you go there)

Great pastas and garlic bread. Salad bar is nice too and after
you are done eating there, you get free soft serve ice cream :)I
hear its been there for awhile- definitely a place to visit when
in Carbondale.

I had the lasagna, and they need to tell what exactly is in the lasagna
because if my significant other had known that there were mushrooms
in it he wouldn't have ordered it. Also, the cheese was a little
too crunchy.

A Carbondale Icon. This Restaurant has remained a constant for
decades. Good Italian selection, Pizza is good but not terrific.
Wine and Beer selection is limited to the popular run of the mill
choices.
