Don't expect standard seafood fare at Bartolotta, as the menu is filled with imaginative choices like Mediterranean red snapper, charcoal grilled gilthead sea bream and sauteed striped tiger shrimp. Great Italian place for very unique entrees. It is a little expensive, but you're paying for a different stlye of food and restaraunt you won't get anywhere else. If you're into Italian food with a little attitude, check this place out!

The food tends to be more towards "authentic Italian" than the typical "Americanized" food most Italian restaurants seem to serve. My wife and I love the tomato-basil-mozzarella appetizer. Really nice veal dishes as well. A lot of the dishes also make excellent use of fresh herbs. In the warmer months, you can eat at tables on the sidewalk, which reminds me of the times I have eaten at restaurants in Paris. Great place!
