Though its a little off the beaten path its worth the drive. My
favorite Mexican restaurant in the Milwaukee area. The steak
& chicken fajitas are the bomb. Portion size is so big you
have to split it or be ready for some serious leftovers. Very good
margaritas also. All at fair prices.

South of the border on Green Bay ave. The mexican food is the best
to be found in the area. Everybody in our party enjoyed the food.

Only the best mexican in town! Having grown up in the area, I loved
the food, and after visiting again (some 20 years later), I find
the food to still be above par, the drinks to be tasty and the service
to be excellent!

The only complaint I really have was the noise level. But at the
same time that can be a good thing becasuse it shows the rest. is
popular. and it has a reason to be. the food was very flavorful
and the waitstaff was very helpful in deciding what food to eat.
I am not a fan of mexican food but i will definatly be going back
there in the future

This is a great place for Mexican food. The atmosphere is very
nice. The margaritas are super. The food is delicious, particularly
the carbon quesidella.

Located off of Green Bay Avenue Dos Bandidos has a fairly bland
exterior appearance. After stepping into the building the atmosphere
improved slightly, but the “Mexican feel” was lacking and could
primarily be found through the chairs and a few objects on the
wall. After breaking through the physical appearance of the
establishment, it became quite obvious the remainder of the
meal would exceed the dull start. Immediately after being seated
I was brought a basket of tortilla chips which appeared to just
be tortilla shells that have been sliced, baked, and seasoned.
Despite the fact that these chips appeared to be made of stale
shells the flavor was impressive, with a mild chili powder for
flavor. The salsa was also good, but could have been a little chunkier
and spicier in my opinion. Shortly after being seated my order
was taken, and brought out surprisingly fast. The service was
friendly and checking up on my satisfaction at every possible
chance. The food ...
