As mentioned in the other review, the Panzerotti really is to die for. I can't accurately sum everything up about the place, because I've never tried more than about 3 items off of the menu. I work in restaurants and eat out all the time, and hate being 'that guy' that always comes in and gets the SAME THING every time. Yet, when I go to Mario's, I can't help myself and no matter how much I try to convince myself that I'm going to try something new, the temptation is irresitable. Honestly, it's a rather drab atmosphere and by appearence doesn't really present itself as fine dining, but it's still a fun place. I usually drop in by myself and have lunch at the bar in the between time between shifts (again, I work restaurants, so for me to catch lunch usually requires a place that stays open all day), and have gotten into some really fun conversations. It's definately a Wino bar where there's a solid crew of people downing wine and manhattans at any given point in the day, and everyone's friendly with each other and I've met some really interesting people, and you can usually catch Mario sipping a Becks. Definately one of my favorite places, and the Panzerotti is definately my favorite dish anywhere. Definately something that everybody has to try once. less
