The secret here is the great sauce.

After moving to Omaha for college, I have missed El Fredo's a lot.
While Omaha has its share of great pizza places, El Fredo's is still
my favorite. The sauce is unbeatable, especially if you ask for it spicy.
If you want great pizza in Sioux City, give this place a try.

Pretty good Pizza and a nice atmosphere. I think the Pizza at Minerva's
is slightly better but this place should be preferred if you want
a more casual feel and lots of variety.

The pizza is second to none and a legendary resturant in Sioux
City. Highly recommended...you will never regret eating El
Fredo's pizza!

The Pizza has a taste that can not be compared. The sauce is spicy
and a bit tangy. It is perfect. The atmosphere is dark, but relaxing.
The only problem I could think of is a few times the pizza did not
keep consistant, but never bad and still worth the stars. As far
as they guy from New York, no local would order the calzone.

I thought their calzones sucked! I don't know what they think
they are, but they definitely are not calzones! I'm from New York
where you get real pizza. I think their pizza is so-so to less than
average. They do have a great comedy club however.

This place started in a very small building many years ago, and
has relocated to it's present large and very nice looking building. When
someone comes to town and mentions pizza, you automatically
think of El Fredo Pizza, like Jello when somebody mentions pudding. If
you enjoy pizza, along with a cold beer or pop, this is the place
for truely good pizza.
