The Villa is a fun place to go and have a fun time in Marquette. I wouldn't
say it is the best Italian eatery in town (try the Casa) but the steak/lasagna
combo is my favorite. I love their Garlic bread.
I would agree it could use an upgrade, and it is really dark sometimes
inside. I still love going there, and try to get there every year.
They took credit cards when I went...?? someone mentioned they didn't.

We stop here every year on our U. P. trip just to get their pizza. It is
the best in the state and believe me, we know and love pizza. We always
get it to go and sit out in the parking lot and eat it in our camper. You
might say we always plan part of our trip around eating at Villa Capri.
That is how much we love it! You can't go wrong when you eat here.
Thanks for being the best!

The food there is pretty good! I like the steak and lasagna. The
inside could using a little updating. I don't think they
have done any remodeling since they opened decades ago. It's
dark, but there is a friendly atmosphere. The owners have a bad
reputation in town, but there food does not.

Growing up it was the place to go. Any special occasion: Birthdays,
Graduation, first date, Mother's Day, etc.
I remember the steaks were melt in your mouth; the garlic bread
had so much butter that it would dribble down your chin (which
we liked); the music old Italian standards (sung by Tony Bennett,
etc.); the service was always great.
The only negative I remember was the long wait. But then, they
opened the lounge behind the restaurant (The Boat Bar) where
you could relax with a drink while waiting for you name to be called
by the hostess.
The atmosphere was cozy and romantic; I have not been home (Marquette)
for 15-years. I am returning for a week-long visit in September,
2005. My first stop for dinner will be Villa Capri.

Very good spaghetti! And the steak is just the way I like it! The
surroundings are romantic and on the dimmer side. Across there
is the Villas Boat Bar, which is terrific and the decor is amazing.
We love it and will continue to eat there. They DO ACCEPT CREDIT
CARDS NOW! The only thing I find a bit over powering is the garlic
bread... it is fairly greasy.

Great food, great atmosphere. Pizza is awesome and the Gyros
(Pronounced "Euros") are incredible. Great greek
food. Try the Baklava!

One of my favorite restaurants, the food is fantastic. The pizza
is incredible as is the garlic bread. The Boat Drinks Tavern (the
bar to the back) is fantastic for parties.

Food out of a can would be better. The owner is impossible. The
staff is scared to death. How does a place like this survive?

This is a pretty good restaurant. Certainly not the best Italian
restaurant I've been too, but not the worst either. The garlic
bread is probably the best thing they have. The pizza was good,
the alfredo was average. The atmosphere was ok, but I prefer that
small cafe style. This was rather dark. The service was good.

The Villa is the best Restaurant in Marquette, the atmoshphere
rocks and the owners family is nice as can be.
I think the mans problem above is that he is a jerk so people treat
him like crap becouse he is rude, the food at the villa is awesome.
