There are a few Larco's locations throughout Southeast Michigan.
Outstanding pasta, veal and chicken specialties.

This is historically one of tne great Italian restaraunt families
in Detroit. The medallions of beef are outstanding, and the minestrone
soup is excellent.

Great place to take an important client or special someone. Great
steaks. Love the zip sauce.

The service the night we went was terrible! There was hardly anyone
in the place, yet we had to ask every things twice and the check
3 times before we finally got it. The waiter was snobby--but he
might be looking for another job if he serves everyone like he
did us. The food on the other hand was very good.

I used to like this place much more. It seems to have deteriorated
over time. The prices are higher and the quality a bit lower. They
have very generic as well as some more yupified Italian food as
well as the usual steaks and chops. Salads are good too. The appetizers
we had were not very good recently which included cold greasy
calimari. What a waste! Also, watch the wine list. It's not very
good and the prices are three to four times retail. They just have
gotten too greedy. So unless you are spending a new found fortune
or just won the lottery, you will probably take a look at the list,
laugh and pass on the wine. Too bad too, because wine is always
nice with dinner. But you don't need to buy the winery. Restaurants
go up and down. This would have been a four star place four or five
years ago.

Atmosphere could be better but the food is excellent. Great italian
and steak dishes. Calimari appitizer is mouth watering. Wine
list is slightly above average, it could be better (but then again,
I'm a wine snob).
