I really appreciated the service we recieved here. They went out of their way to provide things the kids would like to eat. It was a little expensive though.

This was my favorite seafood restaurant in Cincinnati. So if whoever owned it looks at this -- for what my vote is worth -- PLEASE REOPEN!!! <br> The seafood was excellent. Many different varieties of fish - I like mild fish and there was always something mild. They had an excellent choice of OPA -- an Hawaiian fish. Blackened it was superb!! I also loved the crab. The spinach was seasoned perfectly as was the rice pilaf. <br> Dessert was great with key lime pie. <br> I could go there all the time <br> It was never too crowded and was a non smoking restaurant. <br> Service was good. <br> WHAT HAPPENED!!??? PLEASE COME BACK!!!

Sweeney's is a great family seafood restaurant. What is unusual about it is there outstanding wine list and for cincy a great sushi bar. I have eaten there on a regular basis and find the staff and chef more than amenable to doing it my way.

i love this place! for starters, the WHOLE restaurant is non-smoking. the food is good, the prices reasonable. no surprises on the menu, just classic seafood prepared simply. it is also usually not too crowded so it's a good place to go on the spur of the moment. cincinnati diners can relate that to go out on friday or saturday night after 6pm without a reservation or an hour to wait for a table can be very frustrating! the staff is very nice. take the kids, they are welcome here too!
