Maxwell's is one of the finest restaurants in Gatlinburg. The service was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They are so attentive to customers, it's just so great to see a restaurant of the calliber of Maxwell's. I wish we could have one here in Powell. We tell everyone we know that is visiting Gatlinburg to be sure and at least stop in to have a drink and appetizers if not a full meal. The atmosphere is so cozy no matter what part of the restaurant you are seated in. We were crazy about the Oysters Rockefeller and would like to ask if the chef would give me the recipe? And the clam chowder was superb. If possible, could I have that recipe also? It would be much appreciated. Thanks so much and keep up the wonderful work....

Excellent!! this is a real treat. It can be pricey, but well worth it. They have a great wine list and wonderful seafood (love the swordfish!)

The food was great, had grilled chicken w/brown rice and steamed veg. Husband had a really good steak, Very tender and juicy. The dessert was AWESOME! We had Bannana's Foster.A definete MUST try.

Really upscale. Very pricey but you get what you pay for. This is NOT a fast food restaurant--excellent. The bartender knows his stuff. Food was awesome and the ambiance was wonderful. Excellent service; not bothersome but attentive. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions.
