Without question the best catfish restuarant around. The catfish is flavorful, tender and plentiful. The coleslaw is to die for, very spicy. All the other side dishes are excellent as well. They also flip your cornbread before serving it, sometimes from accross the room with another server. They rarely fail to catch it. Go, you will enjoy it.

I wasn't as impressed as I was told I would be, but it was still worth it. The service was good, despite the crowd, and the atmosphere was nice. The food was good, although it took a while. I'll have to try them again to compare.

I've never met one I didn't like. I've never known anyone in or around Mobile that didn't love the Cock of the Walk. I'd give anything if they'd get one up here (IL), I miss is so! The prices are excellent because you get a veritable ton of food - fried potatoes, pickles, pickled onions, coleslaw, Mexican cornbread and greens being the stars of the sides. The catfish - golden, luscious, spicy, melt in your mouth, delicious catfish - can't be beat ANYWHERE! The shrimp are big and delectable, the chicken fingers as fine as they come. The atmosphere is cozy and casual - as good for parties as for family gathering or folks on a date. Folks, that is, that surely love to eat delicious food. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

I haven't eaten there in awhile, but the times that I did go there the food was great. The atmosphere was fun for the kids also. The service was good. Try the cornbread and fried dill pickles.
