i do not know what i am going to say about shogun, ...the food is great, the chef wow, ..they do know what their doing. The food is wonderful and it is so much fun to watch them cook right in front of you. The person that does the cooking is usually funny and very friendly. I had the suhi at Shogun. It was pretty good. The sushi chef was nice with a good sense of humor. The beer was icy and great. It is relatively difficult to find good, quality sushi in Alabama, but Shogun will do in a pinch if you are having a craving. The atmosphere here was really nice.about the sushi chef, his name is bona i think, very nice personality, warm, and he know how to make you feel like home. i would recomend you guys to go and eat sushi at shogun. he works wed-sat. go and check him out.

The chefs at this restaurant put on a show, as they cook your food right in front of you.It's absolutely amazing what they can do with kitchenware.The food is excellent, with that far east taste.Definitely a place to visit with a large crowd of people.

Although the price can be high, this is a great place to go for special occassions or a night out for some fun. Watching the cooks is the greatest and most have a great routine in fixing your food for you. Check it out....you won't regret it.

I love to eat at Shogun. The food is wonderful and it is so much fun to watch them cook right in front of you. The person that does the cooking is usually funny and very friendly. You eat at the table with other people and it is just like one big happy family. A very good resturant to go and have good food and lots of laughs.

As I have stated in oter reviews, I am not a big fan of the Japanese steak house bit. I don't care about the show, and only eat that stuff when I am with people who like it, or my neice and nephew who love the entertainment of having their meal cooked in front of them. However, I LOVE sushi. I had the suhi at Shogun. It was pretty good. The sushi chef was nice with a good sense of humor. The beer was icy and great. It is relatively difficult to find good, quality sushi in Alabama, but Shogun will do in a pinch if you are having a craving. The atmosphere here was really nice. It was low-lit, and seemingly rich with texture and art. I think it would be a fun place to start a date.
