Most of the dishes served are fried - but on our last visit we were told that we can mix and match our combination platters with fried, broiled, or baked. I had good fried shrimp, so-so fried oysters, and very good blackened fish.

Seafood heaven! The staff there is not as friendly as you would like but the food makes up for it. Go there when you're really hungry; the portions will be big. They also have great meals that don't have seafood in them. The atmosphere is kind of cozy and the lighting makes for good conversation and dining.

The best in G'ville for surf and turf. The mushroom and stuffed shrimp appetizers are to die for (especially the dill sauce). Always fast and friendly service. Don't hesitate to mix and match from menu options, they are happy to cook and serve to please.

Northwest Grille has the best seafood in Gainesville !!! The atmosphere is cozy. There is a full bar and great wine list. I have been to N.W.Grille on many occasions and I have the best experiance and service. If you want to have a nice dinner with some great food try the grille. They also have great lunches at a reasonable rate and the best homemade cheesecake around !!!!

Each visit brings different food quality What you see is what you get here. I have eaten at northwest once, but my taste buds will never forget. The Dill crusted salmon is mouth watering, and the stuffed shrimp are even better. The wine list is impressive and the sevice wasn't bad. Small yet cozy, it's perfect for that first date.
