The food is really great......but they really need to do something
with the appearance of their establishment.

Hey...these guys are catering to locals and to those few who know
where you can get some great seafood...they also may be the only
family restaurant who allows smokers...if you are looking for
a great place to take the family for seafood...not to mention
being near the water (New River) then look no further...Yes,
it is not much on appearance but dont judge this establishment
by its cover.

Only one of the landmarks I still visit in Jacksonville, it has
become a little ragged (a lot?) but sitting to a fish platter and
looking at the river in a summer evening is still nice. Stopped
there last spring, to enjoy a quiet lunch and talk with a colleague.

Good place but the fact that it is set back and a bit run down looking
prolly keeps it shy of getting great feedback. I liked the food
though so I give them a thumbs up.

Nice resteraunt right on the water, Appears to be an old
building but the food isn't bad. Steamed oysters are good
in quality here.
