We stopped here when we were travelling through the state. We had heard the seafood was good. We weren't disappionted. The portions were enough and the breading on the fried fish was tasty. My son loved the fried shrimp. The hush puppies were a little over done and the broiled fish was under cooked. Great sweet tea.

Good place to eat seafood, though VERY VERY BUSY at night. Unless you go early, expect a waiting time of up to 30-45 minutes. Service is usually good, though sometimes not so good.

WOW!! THis is my favorite seafood restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is beyond belief, and the food...GREAT!!! Most fried seafood is a little (or a lot) greasy and too breaded, but at The Sandpiper, NOT TRUE! The prices are unbelievable considering the amount of food you get. I am a big seafood eater, and i can order a small platter and have more than enough to eat. I usually have to take out a doggy bag! If seafood is your thing, please visit the Sandpiper!
