I have lived in the Mechanicsville area for around five years now and
never knew about this little gem tucked away across from Lee Davis High
School. My hair dresser recommend this place for some great Italian.
Me and my friend went last Friday night and had one of the best experience
in a restaurant in a long time. We were greeted at our table by Jon who
turned out to be our server, who was excellent by the way. We started
of with some calamari to start and we could tell that it had just been
breaded, not that pre-breaded stuff like other restaurants. I had
the the Chicken Picatta for dinner and my friend had the Penne Chicken
ala Gina. I choose a salad with mine, which was the freshest I had ever
seen. and my friend choose the homemade Italian Wedding Soup. We were
gonna go for a cannoli after dinner but their bread did us in. I don't
know any one would not like this place but it is our new Friday night spot.

More than just Italian. Good seafood, great eggplant, salads
are all very fresh, kids menu, "creative" specials, home-made
bread, cocktails, friendly servers. No tablecloths, but napkins
are cloth, bathrooms small but clean. All dinners are made to
order, so there is a waite. Take-out & rooms for private parties
available. Lunches served from a limited menu. Because of kids items,
lunch & specials, prices could vary from $5.00 - $25.00. Beef dishes
seem to be over-cooked to our tastes. We eat here a lot!
