A great restaurant in the heart of Scranton! We go here all the time and I don't ven eat seafood! My wife, and kids, on the other hand do! I enjoy a great steak whey the rest of them family dines on seafood. Coopers does a great job with kids as well, lots of stuff to keep them busy hen waiting for a table and when waiting for food! We love this place. Keep up the great work! :-)

This place is amazing, when you think about a perfect dining experience it comes to life with Cooper's Seafood. The staff is great, the entire restraunt is somewhat of a museum with pictures and memorabilia from the entire area. The outside is actually a large ship and now there is another area that is a gian lighthouse. But putting all of that aside, the food is just amazing, these people are professionals. The prices may be a little expensive, but this isn't a fast food place, you pay for quality. Not to mention that this is a great place if you have children, there are many things geared towards the little ones. Wll this place is the best in the area, and when you go don't forget to try the Crab Bisque.

Coopers is THE BEST SEAFOOD PLACE in the whole Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. It beats out other seafood restaurants in quantity and quality, such places as Red Lobster, Sebastianelli's. The owners, management, staff all make your dining experience memorable. Very comfortable casual atmosphere. Overall great dining experience whether in Pittston or Scranton.

Coopers is a really neat place to visit. I have visited coopers frequently. The food is delicious! The only draw back is that they do not take reservations. I've had to wait up to an hour and a half for a table. I usually go with about 7 other people. They have a vast variety of beers to choose from! My favorite is the Peach Lembec which is sweet and is served in a tall glass. The wall's are covered with memoribilia from the town's history. The service is kind. And the kids meals are nice also. They have live entertainment which is always fun. The atmosphere is nice with a family based theme. In one room their is a HUGE whale hanging from the ceiling. In another, fish tanks built into the walls. And the other room is where the bar is located along with seating and the live entertainment. There is a room for any mood you are in. In total I give this restaurant 4****. I would give it five if the wait wasn't sometimes so long.

I think that this by far the best place to eat in the entire area. The fish is good, the lobster is sweet, but my favorite is the chicken strips in garlic and butter. The decore is great with all the humor and fish motif. The bar is great, it has a huge selection of beer and other good stuff for a night of fun. The waiters and waitresses were all nice and helpfull. I can't stress enough that the food their is great.
