Very good place to eat before a night out. As someone else said, however, the drinks are almost humorously small, so drink slow. The food is great, and the atmosphere is nice.

Chef's is good, and yes, there are a lot of "celebrities, " if such a thing exists in Buffalo. But, this place is somewhat overrated. It is good, don't get me wrong, but it is still overrated. Most folks eat the Spaghetti Parm., which your arteries really can take only once a year. But there are some other menu items (the menu is no longer posted on the wall) that are quite good. Make a reservation if going on a Sabres game night.

Chef's is my favorite restaurant in the area. The food always comes right away and is great for before Sabres Games. The only problem i have is the fact that they have the smallest glasses ever! Other than that, I love it!

Chef's restaurant is located in downtown Buffalo. It is all italian food. Excellent sauce, large portions, very friendly waiters/waitresses. Their sauce is served on the side with your pasta. You really do not even need the sauce, their pasta is so moist& flavorful! Large restaurant, seats approx.300 people, they also have a large banquet room.Reservations are taken, throughout the day, they are not neeed, but in the evenings, esp.on Friday or Saturday, without reservations, you will have to wait!!! This is one restaurant where you will find the Buffalo sports teams, ex:Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, ect.All your Buffalo newscasters are always there! Their menu consists of 5 different chef salads, pasta dishes from spaghetti to fettecinni alfredo. Their spaghetti parmagian is excellent! They also serve a few desserts including, canolli's, ect. I find this restaurant very good!!! Very resonable price's!!!!
