I LOVE mexican food and Tex-Mex. El sombrero is great for authentic mexican food. If you are a taco bell person, there is a difference :-)

Originally from San Antonio, Tx.so we know the difference.

This is first class real Mexican not Tex-mex which is normally on the hotter side.Very good beer selection also The service is great. We try to eat there once a month.

I had an awesome giant burrito! It was so good and really satisfied my craving for mexican food. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is great.

I always enjoy my visits to this restaurant. Convenient location on route 10 in Southington. Mexican atmosphere with wall hangings and mariachis(sp?). The margarits are excellent. Wide variety of Mexican food and also some not so Mexican foods too.

Sampler platter is a must! It certainly a meal to fill two people and very reasonable pricing. The staff is also Mexican/Latin background which is a plus.

great place for a good meal. the mariachis (spelling?) add to the authenticity they try to portray. get the cinamon coated tortillas for desert.
