My uncle owned O'Henrys restaurant, a well known village watering
hole, located in the same area of west village. It is no longer there,
and neither is uncle Vito.
The best alternative is Volare. I go there every time I visit NYC. I love
it.

The best place for Italian food in NYC!!! I have been going there
with Family, Friends and Clients for 18 years and have never had
a bad meal. Everyone raves about the food and Service, decor is
a bit dated but part of the charm. If you know a better Italian restaurant,
I would like to know where.

The price never mattered......always reasonable for the personalized
service and delicious food. I've been going to Volare for
years. Even on my visits from my 20 years in Barbados, a highlight
of my visits back to NY was having dinner here. They always remember
their patrons by name and give a hug as you enter the restaurant.
It's like going home!!
Thank you Sal and Nimo...........See you soon.......

parents in New York, we eat at volares. The pasta fajole is the
best, and I will never forget their stuffed veal. Mmmm It's to
