Great but cheap. The food is great and the portions huge. Comfortable
atmosphere.

I would agree with some of the previous review, the portions are very
generous! Great selection of interesting fresh foods here. Worth
going a bit out of your way to give it a try.

Yummy is the word, satisfying upto the last bite, it has been around
for years and that says a lot, and the servers are very friendly
and above all it is not tourist trap like some other delis at times

I don't care what anyone else might say, but north of houston

Has been refurbished but still old and grungey, don't let
that put you off as it is one of the best delis in NYC.

Perfect for pastrami, pickles or chicken in a pot not to mention
the mushroom barley soup. Service is impeccable.

Even though Abe, the owner was killed several years ago, his family
has continued the great tradition of Good Kosher Food & Service.
About the Best Kosher Deli in NYC. Not a tourisat trap, like some
of the Times Square area delis.

This place made going to the dentist worthwhile! It was my reward.
Sure, all I could manage was the chopped liver... but they have
the best in the world! As a kid growing up on 4th St and 2nd Ave, I'm
sure I cut a few teeth on their pickles and knishes. You couldn't
get better than this place.
