If you're ever at Point Pleasant, you have to check this place out. They've been around forever (well, about 50 years, to be exact) and they've got seafood cooking down to a T! Their New England Clam Chowder is so thick, creamy, and delicious. The Seafood Marinara is heavenly as well. If you're with someone who doesn't like seafood, they also offer steaks

good place to eat sea food and smell the odour of sea. try this place and drink white wine here too. it is close to broadwalk if you have kids with you , after the dinner you can have fun in the broadwalk try it

My family used to go here when I was a child, some 30 years ago - my parents actually remember when it was a shack! The Shrimp Box has excellent seafood and is set on the water. Service is also very good! I now live in Southern New Jersey (right off the Atlantic City Expressway) and we still go every year to Point Pleasant Beach and go to The Shrimp Box. My husband, a native "South Jersian" thought we were nuts at first. After his first visit to the Shrimp Box, he was hooked, too!
