I had a very disappointing experience last evening at the Brick, NJ restaurant, Villa Vittoria in Ocean County I went there with my mom (who ordered the broccoli and pasta) and my son (who ordered the shark special). I ordered the pasta with trout. I specifically asked the waiter if there were bones in the trout. He said no. I had never tasted trout before this. Sure enough, upon my first mouthful, there were small bones. Maybe other people would like swallowing them, but I preferred not to. The manager came over as I was taking them in to my napkin and said, would I prefer linguine with clam sauce. So I said OK. The other two member of the party were done eating by the time my meal arrived. There were pieces of sand in with the sauce, so it was not much better.
