This place has the best lobster bisque ever!! This alone makes it worth the hefty prices. Almost everything about the Lobster House is great. During our 7 day vacation last week we went to LH 2 times. The food is excellent, the service couldn't be better. The servers are prompt & courtious. The only thing you might not like is the wait if you get there after 4:30 pm in the summer. The line reminds me of a ride at Disney. The parking is not so great. But, the food makes it all worth it. Also, pretty kid friendly.

This is our favorite place to eat! Great service, large portions, priced right! You may have a wait to get in during the summer, but it's definitely worth it. And while your waiting you can sit out on the schooner and have cocktails and appatizers. Theres things to keep you busy while your waiting! Lobster House is family owned and one of our most visited restaurants in Cape may County! We will definitely return for years to come!

In every case the lobster house is the best you will find and to give that proof there it was and has been notated in the Philadelphia magazine many times. Seafood steak pasta you name it, the best has been found prepare to wait in the summer. The LH only hires the best of staff an you will see it when you get there. and a additional note Mr.Launderman you shal be missed you gave Cape May one of the greatest assets it has

I have been going to the L.H. for over 25 years now, and I must say it is the best place to go in Cape May. In saying that from the minute you walk in the bartenders will give you a smile pour you a great drink and a good drink to boot. The help cant do enough for you an thats hard to find at the shore but also falls under the demands of the family owned business that it is. It is a a sure bet on anything you will have there will delighten the tastebuds for you. My favorite overall in the years that i been going though has to be the blackened redfish extra spicey you wont find it better. For those going to the L.H. during the summer it will be packed an expect a wait, however across the street is the anchorage an is owned by the same family with equal quality of food an drink.

First things first: this place has the best lobster bisque we have ever tasted!!! I go here just for the bisque! The seafood market next door also sells it by the quart to take home. This alone makes it worth the 2 hour trip from monmouth county! Anyway, everything about the Lobster House is great. The food is excellant, the service couldn't be better. The servers are prompt, courtious and readily available. The atmosphere is pleasant and decorative. The only thing you might not like is the wait if you get there after 6pm in the summer. I've seen it over 2 hours!! Enjoy!

Coming from the midwest, I'm on seafood orverdose! When you can't usually get good seafood, you know the treat it is to be able to enjoy it! Everything I had was great and i will remember this place for my next visit!
