My favorite resturant! My husband and I have been coming here for years.
The clam chowder is the best I have ever had. Everytime we come here we
order something different and I am never disapointed.

I've eaten at Emerald Fish on a few occasions and have always been
pleased... probably because I go there for a specific dish, and usually
wind up having it. Try the blackened ahi tuna... it never disappoints.
Can't argue with a place that throws in free desserts with dinner!
A very good restaurant in an odd, strip mall setting.

Why is there such a range in reviews? Two stars to five stars?
Guess you can't please everyone all the time.
A freind tried it last night and had high praise but after seeing
these reviews, I don't know if I want to try it or not.

This sounds like a great restaurant and is it still open and how
long ago was this restaurant rated five stars.

Not many seafood oriented restaurants in the area, but this one
was ok. If you need a fix in seafood, go here, but if you don't really,
go somewhere else.

The food is very, very good. But the prices are high. I feel the
fresh is extremely fresh.

This can be a good restaurant but the service is slow, 1/2 of the
time we go things arent cooked the way we want them, or they get
the orders wrong, it's expensive for lunch & you dont get much
for your money

Very disappointed in this restaurant. It did not desire to be
in Philadelphia magazine for best crab cakes.

Chef/owner Laura Kaplan has created a unique menu that focuses on ultra fresh
seafood and shellfish at this BYO bistro. Chicken, pasta and beef dishes
plus daily blackboard specials round out the menu. All entrees including
- grilled tuna with marinated plum tomatoes ($17.50), jumbo shrimp with
Mediterranean pesto ($18.00), and Emerald crab cakes (my favorite!) with
red pepper aioli ($18.50) - are accompanied by a large Caesar Salad or baby
field green salad with raspberry dressing.
We saved room for dessert and were glad we did. Patrons who dine at Emerald
Fish Monday through Thursday are treated to complimentary dessert and coffee.
Emerald Fish has a cozy dining room and a bright open display kitchen where
you can see the chefs whipping up great dishes.
