The whole atmosphere is relaxed like Clarks Landing or Union Landing at the NJ shore. I love restaurants on the water. People on the lake are so down to earth and friendly. Saturday night July 6th. 2002. Diner crowd is early as many boat in and want to be home by dark. Prime rib was outstanding. Service was very professional. Arrived at 7:30 Good crowd, yet got a table right away. Outside dining or in, overlooking the lake and docks. Wonderful! Beautiful evening. Great deserts! Try the after dinner coffee drinks. Very attentive staff. Very clean. Five star! Want a break from weekly stress? You'll love it. Great decor. Up scale, yet casual with modest class. You will love it! Cheers! -JRH Chester, N.J.

The Windlass restaurant has not change to the Riverclub.The Windlass is still in the same place its been for years at NolinsPoint, lAKE HOPATCONG. Location Location set right the lake, by far the best food on the Lake Hopatcong.

The windlass Is no longer operational. The restaurant has changed names to the River Club. I had the chance to eat there recently and found both the atmosphere and food to be very good. I had the penne chicken and my friend had the river club chicken. Service was good. I would return there to eat and give them an overall rating of 3.5
