this is funny, ,, i can agree with all the previous reviews, ,, which points out the trouble with most restaurants - their identities & consistency, ,, this fault can be shared by customers who don't pass on their comments to the management, ,, at mattar's, the maitre'd is management, ,, still & all, its a decent restaurant which does fall down on consistency at times

had them do a small party for us in there downstairs room. prices are high and they didnt really seem to be ready for this type of small party there was about 25 of us. there are better places in the area for your money

This Italian restaurant is not really the best Italian food taht uou can get in the area. The sauce is not well made and the prices and service are horrible. In fact, my catering bill was higher than ever plus they forgot to bring half the food i ordered, stay away from this place bexcause it is just not worth your money or time.
