Very disappointing. poor service. small portions (gritty clams),
Five Spice Chilean Sea Bass was bland...and seemed to have been thrown
on top of noodles. Had to wait and ask for water glasses to be refilled.
Had to ask 3 times for check. We travelled 1 1/2 hours to get there to celebrate two birthdays...and
ended up going home for desert! What a shame!

another 'destination restaurant', ,, & even if you live in the
city, the ferry makes this easy to access, ,, a top wine cellar,
real linen tablecloths, great staffing, extremely innovative
& competent chefs who use their imagination well while staying
true to the original intent of the owners, ,, well recommended.

Great food. Has never dissapointed us, from bread to dessert.
Very good wine list. Very likely New Jersey's best seafood restaurant.
Not inexpensive but worthwhile. Make sure you ask price of lobster
before you order it. Weekends, esp in summer, can be a LONG wait.
Not a place to bring the kids.

Truly fine. The best seafood resturant I have ever been to. I now
live near Philadelphia, and make the 2 hour trip to Doris & Eds
from time to time.
Great service, good wine selection, phenomenal food. Just be
sure to call ahead for a reservation!

Phenomenal! Although it's a little pricey, it is well worth every
penny you spend. Everything is made fresh, including the to die
for ice cream. They have an extensive wine cellar, and recommendations
for which wine to have with each part of your meal. I still dream
about the lobster bisque and crab cakes - by far the best I've ever
had!
