The best...period. If you want great italian, this is THE place to go. Don't bother going elsewhere. It is expensive, though, especially if you want a few drinks with your meal. Well worth it.

The name is actually "Lu Nello". This is THE quintessential NJ Italian restaurant. Everything is just exactly what you'd expect from the perfect old-style-elegant NJ Italian restaurant. From a perfect staff member at every position (Maitre'd, bar tender, waiter) to the delicious wonderful food, everything is outstanding. Don't bother with the menu...let the waiter describe the extensive, fresh specials in delicious detail, and just tell 'em what you want! Reservations are a must on the weekends. If you love Italian food at its best, do not miss this one. And, if you feel like you're on the set of "The Sopranos" when you're there, don't be surprised.
