Food was average, not the best but not the worst either. Not a beer drinker although the friend that took me here says they are great

The rating is for the beer and not the food. There is always 8-13 hand-crafted beers on tap at Blind Tiger, so there is something for everyone. Generally there are at least a couple of wheats from filtered to unfiltered and even a raspberry. The Java porter is truly a beer to write home about! Easy to drink, you find yourself wondering if you will be amped for the night. If you are fortunate, you might be able to enjoy a cask. The brewer comes with accolades, certificates and metals - deservedly so. He is known to use hops from his own garden for his hoppy specialties. If you cant make up your mind, get the beer sampler - they will treat you right. Also, The mixed drinks are stout and delicious, too, if suds are not your thing of the moment. The bartenders are generally knowledgeable and friendly. Food - I'd classify as greasy/pub grub. The chicken strips are huge and good. Sometimes the burnt ends are good, but not much there once you've picked through the fat and hit the slice of white bread bed bolstering teh serving.

The food typically is good. The service on the upfront side tends to be a little slow. But, with a good beer and the peanuts, you tend to give in to the slow service. That is why I tend to sit at the bar. Faster service on both ends, food and beer. Just a hint for faster service!!

I really enjoyed the beer sampler, but the price was way too much. The service was very, very slow, but I would go back again for the wheat beer.

We had terrible service. The food was not prepared as requested. I ordered chicken fried steak, and it was very pink. My friend ordered mashed potatoes with no gravy or chives, and was given both. Our drinks were mixed up, and we weren't even offered an apology when the mixups were discovered and pointed out.
