Used to love it for almost 40 yrs. Maybe the new management, maybe the
times but Famous has truly lost its edge. They used to have the best pizza,
prices and ambiance. Now the food is so-so, prices are ridiculous ($8.50)
Hawaiian Pizza (w/ onions) (less than 12" pie, Greek thin style),
large screen plasma (or LCD). Priority given to police, not 1st come
1st serve. Seems more like a sports bar, waitresses unintelligent
& not observant. Hair twisted into grated cheese caps? Used to bring family and business
associates from as far as CA, Canada & South America. I was embarrassed
when I brought and associate (been there B4) & client from NJ to
try it out - they were appalled. The manager could not control the monitor
feed. If I want a large screen TV to watch ESPN I can stay home or go to the
local sports bar. I will never go nor bring my family again until I hear
hey have gone back to a family restaurant again. TRULY DISAPPOINTING!!!!

I've been eating Famous Pizza since I was a little girl. They make
it fresh and serve it Hot. It's the best tasting pizza i've
ever eaten. I also love there garlic bread with cheese, it's Great!
When I was little my family and I used to order pizza and go and eat it at
Seaside Park in Bpt. Now I take my own children and do the same thing!
If your every in the area stop by and try it, I'ts a really great
tasting pizza!!!!!! P.S. theres a parking lot in back of the restaurant

I have been eating pizza at famous pizza for over forty years.
Arthur and his family were making pan pizza before anyone. I still
stop there whenever I am in Bridgeport. Try the meatball pizza.

A bit pricey, but worth it. The pizza is about as fresh as it can
be, and it tastes really good.
