This is another one of those barbecue experiences that you would
just like to forget. To start off with the place is in a poor location
and looks run down. I stopped for lunch and ordered their ham and
beef combo. Sandwich arrived with very small amounts of meat
and the usual frozen fries. This seems to be the norm for KC barbecue
joints. The first bite of the sandwich was awful! The beef tasted
like it was 6 months old! That done me in. I would of complained
but the waitress never showed back up. Maybe she knew something?
The fries were just ok and the sauce did not help either. I paid
the bill but they never have to worry about selling me anything
else. I hoped they noticed the one bite out of the sandwich!

7th street is close to home and very good food but they need to brighten
up the place it is not like a Mc Donalds where you can see they have
good service but 7th street is just another one of armourdales
hole in the wall.

Their location is pretty bad. Their building is fairly old...
and I wouldn't stick around to eat... but you just have to try this
bar-b-q.
You want ribs? Their ribs are incredible.
Beef? Perfect.
Ham? Perfect.
Sauce? The best. Period (Although Gates Extra Hot is damn good
as well.)
This out-of-the-way, hole-in-the-wall is the epicenter of
KC bar-b-q.
My fav -- Slab of Ribs or a single Beef on bread and I'm happy as can
be.
