Olympia is an ok spot to grab a quick gyro. They also offer Greek coffee
and a number of other Greek specialties such as moussaka, dolmades,
and pastitsio. The interior approaches dive bar levels which would
be fine, but when they are charging more than $10 for most of their entrees
and the portions are small, I would appreciate a cleanup or a price drop.
The waitstaff was unfriendly and not very attentive. Friends of mine
who love Olympia and dine there often also confirm that the service
could use an improvement. The gyro is good, not great. But you can get
an equally good gyro elsewhere for less money and in a cleaner atmosphere.
Don't love it, don't hate it, try it and make up your own mind.
Whenever friends want to meet for lunch or dinner, this is in my top 3.
The deluxe gyro is fantastic and I sometimes stop and order one to go
to enjoy in nearby Forest Park. Food, quality, value, its all here.

Great autmosphere and fantastic food. Excellent gyros and the best
restaurant dolmades around!
The atmosphere is great, very friendly, you feel like you can sit and
visit, no rush. The pita bread is always so very fresh and the food is
so flavorful. We have been twice and will definitely go again.

Olympia is a consistent and enjoyable spot for Greek food and
drinks. The atmosphere is light and attractive, illuminated
by natural light through large front windows. Although the trot
across the street can be dangerous, its worth it to get to the other
side. Value also weighs in the Olympia's favor, as the prices
are more than reasonable and the service is friendly, and yes,
usually attractive.
Excellent Greek cafe. Food is pretty authentic and very well
prepared. Great service makes the entire dining experience
here worthwhile. Parking is marginal...especially on weekend
nights, but it is well worth the effort.
Plentiful food and very good service. Do not, and i repeat
do not miss out on the flaming cheese, put out with a lemon
right in front of your eyes... while your waittress yells out
OOOOMPAHHHH!!!! Authentic Greek food great lamb dishes.
Mousakah, Pastishio, Spanakopita, and all of the goodies.
Have some Baklavah for dessert. Also enjoy your meal with some
of the many choices of beer or wine, and finish off with a
nice bit of OOZO, a tasty liquorish flavored strong beverage.
Delicious. Very pleasant atmosphere. A great get away.
I have had good service every time I have been there - which has
been pretty much!
The food is great - rated best gyros in St. Louis and I agree!
Their Spinach Pita is also to die for. Good salad and a nice veggie
dish that is really good.
I highly recommend this place.
They could work on the atmosphere maybe a little bit, but the food
is really worth it.
