We had lunch at La Garage today. Don't waste your time or money! The wait staff all looked like they were in pain. Our waiter never refilled our water glasses or checked back to see if we needed anything or if the food was okay. A waitress that wasn't assigned to our table was more attentive than our waiter. The food was mediocre, over priced and the wine list is sad. Do yourself a favor - skip this place and get a lobster roll at Red's Eats. La Garage was a huge disappointment.

We had a tremendous meal at Le Garage. Our waiter (Mark) was very good at explaining the dishes and helping us withour food (dietary)needs. Service was excellent! We will definately be back.

I've been to Le Garage several times of the years. The food has always been perfect but the bar area downstairs was always a bit "under dreary" UNTIL NOW! The bartender is one of the best I've have seen since I've lived in New York! This guy, Warren really know's his class. Ask him for his special. Its always something different but perfect! Great atmosphere too. It is a high class bar without the high class attitude. A must to go to for tourists or for year rounders!

Must say this was FANTASTIC! Ate upstairs and then went downstairs to the bar area on a Staurday night. Food was great, the people and staff were very friendly and professional. We had a great time!

I had the Steak sandwich in the bar area....all I can say is WOW. That was the best steak sandwich I have had in Maine. I had it with the cheddar cheese and it was fantastic. My whole meal and two drinks cost $22.00. My friend had a plate of the nachos and they looked very tasty. She paid about the same as I did. We definately will go back!

I agree with these posts. I have eaten at Le Garage for years and it is ALWAYS great. Love their chowders for lunch, seafood and steaks for dinners. The drinks are always very tasty and well made. A must stop if you are in the area.

Went there last weekend. We had never been there. The waiter and service were excellent. I had the seafood Alfredo and it was delicious. My husband had the Bistro Steak and he said that it was done perfectly. The wine selection is the best we have seen in Maine. Look forward to going here again next fall.
