Email sent to Country Farms Restaurant: I was to enjoy a wonderful lunch with my husband and two children for fathers day. I called two days in advance to ask about your hours of operation as I had never been to your restaurant. They told me lunch would start at 11:45am. I explained I have a three year old and wanted reservations as he likes to eat and leave. The woman on the phone said there would be no wait as you have a large dining area and to be there at 11:45am as that is when breakfast changes to lunch and you don't take reservations. My family and I showed up on fathers day at 11:40 to be informed they would not be ready until 12:00. We were on a schedule as I had a nice day planned for my husband and we needed to be several towns away for our next endeavor. To our dismay it took another 15 minutes to seat us then when the male waiter came to our table, only to be informed there were no potatoes and absolutely no bread left of any kind. We got up and left. My children were very hungry (ages 3 and 6) and what a horrible thing to do to my children and to ruin my husbands fathers day meal. We had to go next door to the gas station for our meal. I can not believe that your restaurant wasn't better prepared for a special day. Disappointed, angry, and disgusted were and are my only feelings for your restaurant at this time. I hope your others guests are treated with more respect than mine was. less
