lot of people like this place, so I guess there's strength
in
numbers. Then again, most people are pretty thick, and the Wok
Inn caters to the lowest common denominator. The menu is huge,
the crew is fast, and the food is pretty greasy and pretty average.
Order a #23, it dosen't matter

What a great place. I think this is one of the original Amato's
and certainly one of the larger. Has a much bigger grocery section.
They only do take-out, specializing in pizza, pasta, and subs.
The grub is pretty good and dirt cheap. When I think Amato's,
I think of value.

Was here to visit and loved this place. Really good pizza! Not
too expensive and friendly service. If I'm ever in Maine
again I will go back!

Best Italian sandwich around. Lot's of variations on the theme,
also. For the vegitarians, check out the eggplant Italian. Their
pizza rocks pretty hard also. My favorite is the spinach, feta,
greek olive pizza. Buffalo wings are OK but not a specialty. Try
the pazzo bread. Staff is friendly and fast.

I have lived out of town and miss Amato's Italian sandwiches.
If you are visiting the area and want a quick picnic lunch for Portland's
nearby eastern promanade - this is it!
