I was in Providence for a Conference this past week and was totally blown
away. Never have I seen so many great restaurants in one town. We tried
a number but my favorite by far was the Blue Grotto. Our host said he hadn't
been in years and it was totally different then his memories. Can't
wait to come back in town and go to the Blue Grotto again. Thank you!

I don't usually write reviews, and I typically never write a good
review; but I LOVE this restaurant and have always had the most wonderful
experience. We are not part of the rich and famous; yet I have always
felt like the most important person in the room. From the genuine friendly
greeting at the door to the smile and welcome from the service staff
and management, I felt like I belonged there. Try to make the Blue Grotto
more than your special occasion restaurant; I think everyone deserves
it. Everyone deserves to be treated like they belong, to be served great
food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and to be appreciated for your
business. It is one of the greatest reason’s to go to The Blue Grotto
instead of so many other options out there; I always feel valued and
I will always come back.

I was recently at the Blue Grotto for a business dinner presentation
and I was blown away. Most business dinners with over 25 people offer
boring low cost meals. Not the case at the Blue Grotto, I will be sure
to come again and again in the future.

Definitely one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant
in a long long time. Went for my wife's birthday and she loved it.
Service was fantastic and definitely get a dessert.

I guess its been awhile since anyone has reviewed The Blue Grotto but
I can't imagine why. Went for the first time last week and was blown
away. The food was amazing the staff was exceptional. We felt very comfortable
in the casual atmosphere and can't wait to come back. A++

I'm a sucker for a good European-type cafe, traced back to
my exchange student days in Switzerland. The coffee here is just
like in Rome, I swear, and I come here with or without spouse just
to practice my Italian. The food is acceptable, but I like the
ambiance of it all and my wife likes the desserts made like in Bella
Italia. As one of my colleagues says about this joint, "You
could do a LOT worse." I believe him.

TO DIE FOR... If you can ever get their lobster bisque, consider
it a once in a life time treat. They rarely make it. I can find nothing
wrong with anything in this restaurant. Food, service, ambiance,
all way above average. Lamb and veal out of this world, Fresh veggies,
delicious bread, exquisite desserts. A very good value for the
dollar. Nicely paced, not rushed.

This restaurant is actually in Pawtuxet Village in CRANSTON,
not Providence. The area is also very nice for an after dinner
stroll.

I found the blue grotto to be a very fun place. The service was above
average anf the food was pretty good. This place is for couples
or a group looking to have fun.
