Discrimination Service!! Ocean Sky seems to serve and care only for
Asians. In the past three years, I've left twice because they seemed
too busy to hand me a menu, water or tea. Even after asking politely for
a drink, I was told she was too busy to do so and not one waitress came to
get us started. But everyone all around us, who came in after us were
getting their orders placed and working on the second round of drinks.
The Asian families received the quickest, friendliest service I have
ever seen Ocean Sky delt out. Does anyone know how to file a complaint
against them? I am amazed that place is still opened.

VERY GOOD FOOD, BOTTOM LINE. The resturaunt itself could use a cleaning
job and they should give free refills on the soda, but the food is worth
eating in filth. I love the chicken chow mein, chicken with vegetables,
and the fried rice. I LOVE the egg flower soup. Very great prices too.
All the other comments (bad) must have just came on the wrong day. Nobody's
perfect. But the food sure is!

I think this is a good place for more authentic Chinese food. I
love their steamed whole fish and oyster.

I like their duck noodle soup, too. You may enjoy it if you can use
the chopstick well.

I have eaten at Ocean Sky since 1987. It serves the best Chinese
food north of San Francisco. But if your idea of "Chinese"
is La Choy from a can, or egg rolls and chop suey from a steam table,
you will be disappointed and lost here. Mainly Szechwan and Hunan
style, lots of fresh seafood, tender marinated beef, superb
BBQ pork, fresh vegetables, excellent soups, huge portions,
and modest prices. Nobody goes here for the "atmosphere, "
although the dining room has been cleaned up quite a bit in the
past year or two. It's the food. I have friends who drive from
Florida to Oregon to eat at Ocean Sky (among other things). If
you appreciate real Chinese food, ignore the whingers, and give
it a try.

How does this place stay in business? Everyone I've talked
to told me they can't stand this place. I've been once.
The food was horrible. Undercooked and inedible. Ick. I'm
never going there again.

Not my favorite place to eat, and the food isn't exactly all
that good. The atmosphere here tends to be rather phony, I think.
Overall, a lousy restaurant.

Has been closed temporally in the past for reserving food items.
If you can overlook the past problems, the food tastes great and
very nice sized portions.

Great lunch spot for a group of friends or co-workers. They have
large round tables with a separate area in the middle that rotates.
This way you can all order something different and share.
