This is my husband's review as he and his coworkers come here on regular basis. He likes their red curry with bamboo shoots and their pad thai. I have not been here personally for years, I thought it was okay/average at the time ('95).

I thought the food would be better since they have been in business so long. Better restaurants have good under. We ordered some appetizers and a main course. After the appetizers arrived, we cancelled the main course because the food was so bad. The service was also very marginal...slow and there was no awareness their customers needed service.

I went here once about, well, 12 years ago, and it was just disgusting. Cold, tasteless, textureless mouth torture. The

entire party agreed it was one of the worst meals ever.
Apparently that hasn't changed any. I vote for lowest score!

Try Bangkok Garden or High Thai on Saratoga in Santa Clara.

Though Bangkok Spoon has a couple of dishes that are very good,

in general I have found their food to be below average for Thai

restaurants in this area. The service has always been slow. I love Thai food and go back here only when someone else wants to hoping

for a better experience. It has not changed in 10 years.

Wow, and I thought I didn't like it. Very bland uninteresting food, priced high. No thanks.

I thought I was going nuts when I ate here, now more than a year ago... It is pretty hard to have a bad Thai meal, when you love this cuisine as much as I do. But this place is probably the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life!!! Everything was tasteless, cold, and completely disappointing. I was thrilled (in a way) to see these bad reviews corroborate my awful experience...It is hard to believe how this place can survive all this time while being so bad, and this in a town with dozens of good, cheap restaurants (although not competitive in the Thai market) It's not even worth the "I'm feeling adventurous tonight" gamble...believe, McDonald's is preferrable!

How can this restaurant survive? 5-10 years ago, I recall it being acceptable, but it has been nothing but bad for the last five. Just say no. Let's see if this restaurant can go for the record of lowest possible average score. :-)

I also went to Bangkok Spoon once and will not return. The service was average, but the food was below average.
