Loud, loud, and loud. Cramped and crowded most weekends too.
It does not have the "Pub" flavor it would like to have
and although the ales are certainly authenticly Irish the food
most certainly is not.

Certainly a lively place, Conor O'Neill's is really
two separate places in my estimation - the indoor scene and the
sidewalk cafe portion. For older folks, the inside might be somewhat
loud and disconcerting, as the walls offer no sound-deadening
and noise seemingly comes from everywhere, especially when
crowded or a band is playing. Difficult for a conversation at
these times. I would suggest that the older crowd leave the interior
to the fun-loving, raucous younger set. The outside sidewalk
dining area provides an excellent forum for doing some people
watching as the Ann Arbor crowd passes by. Enjoy the Boxtie with
some authentic Irish stouts.

Begora.... a real Irish puc in Ann Arbor, even the waitstaff speaks
with Irish accents... great food all aorund although my favorite
is either the fish n chips or the chicken boxty (a giant potato
pancake stuffed with grillen chicken and veggies)... or course
a wonderful selection of Anglo-Irish brews on tap (including
a real "Black And Tan")... IF you can, make it there for a early
Saturday morning English Premier League soccer game on the big
screen.
