china star used to be a good place to eat. i just went in may and it was terrible. the food was was not good at all. the waitress was nice. when i went to get a plate there was dish soap covering it, so that lead me to beleive that the dish washer was not good. when everything was said and done the person taking my money acted like she didnt care and i paid $66.00 for ice cream because that is all we ate. two hours later and we had to stop and spend another $25.00 on food. (there was six in my party) i wont be back.

I agree, this is one of the best chinese buffet restaurants in austin. Good prices, huge selection, and great food. The only problem is the location, but it's not that big of a deal. They have alot of good food to offer, mostly chinese some domestic. Definitely give it a try!

This is an excellent place for the lunch buffet. If you can't find what you're looking for then you need to go. You had better be HUNGRY when you come here. There is soooo much to eat that you'll be glad you came. Oh, and the price is definately right!!
