Prices are steep but the quality is excellent! They also have a wide range of drinks to select from as well as a BB-Que sauce that will knock your socks off.

Great BBQ. The best I have ever had! Good prices. It is crowded at lunch but it is well worth the wait and the crowd. Great atmosphre! I recommend this place to anyone. This is the best BBQ I have had. I have never ate at the Salt Lick, but that is my next stop! Good Food. Can't wait to go back. Good choice of food JB & Sandy. Don't let the worn exterior fool you; this stop won't let you down if you're hankerin' for good eats. The BBQ here is favored by Austinites. A great place my friend recommended in '93. I've been coming here for seven years and I love the staff.

This is a bar-b-que with a very unique taste full of flavor and spice.The bar-b-que itself is good but it is even better smothered in the homemade sauce.The desert and side dishes are excellent.Rudy's has a taste in a class all by itself

This is a great place to go for your barbecue if you are sick of the same ol' same ol'. The prices are a bit higher than you will usually pay for barbecue, but if you are in the neighborhood anyway it is worth the extra bucks. There are some things here that you can't get at the other places. The type of side dishes for one, and the type of desserts for another. Generally you are offered the standard beans and potatoe salad at barbecue joints. Here you are offered that plus macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes, both winners. Although I have always been too stuffed to partake of the dessert, I think it's safe to say that their bread pudding is a winner as well.
