This place was just ok. Nothing to write home about. The service could
have been better too. At least the prices were reasonable.

The first time we went we loved it. We were there for a late lunch.
Second time we took our son, a 7 yr old and the food wasn't half
as good as it was for lunch?

Maybe it was just the waitress that never came back to the table
to offer refills or ask if we wanted desert or they were just having
a bad afternoon. We haven't been back since. I guess we're
just look for a place with consistency and good food and this wasn't
it.

Overall it wasn't that bad but there are much better in the
area.

Nothing is as good as homemade bbq, but the people at Tom's
have it close. They put the Texas in Texas chili. Sauce is good
and you definetly need the wet naps after this place along with
lots of napkins.

Not the kind of BBQ a Texan expects, but otherwise good. Portions
are very large and service is good. Recommend if you're hungry
and aren't too particular about your bbq.

So-so BBQ. I mean, how can it be a real BBQ if you never see smoke
billowing from the back? Granted the portions are large, but
the BBQ is mediocre and the sauce has no bite.

Best barbecue in San Antonio! Great food, good service, large
portions, good prices, homey atmosphere & wide selection. A
real friendly place. And all the license plates on the walls are
a kick too. Give it a try. You won't be sorry!

Hey, these people, at least, know how barbecue is supposed to
taste.
Having grown up in the south and mid-west and having had some of
the best barbecue in the USA, the "stuff" that passes for barbecue
in
San Antonio is very disappointing.
Very good food here and LOTS of it. You`ll have to do the doggie
bag
thing.

Good food, ok service, awesome margaritas. They also let me smoke
my cigar by the bar and watched the Cowboys murder the Redskins!!!!
The staff was really nice, and the bib they provide for adults
saved my new shirt from gobbs og bbq sauce.

Better than moms cooking(sorry mom). Ribs that melt in your mouth
and good people who make sure you don't run out.
