Really disappointed in Granzin. Always good food until last Thursday when I ordered 3 chopped beef tacos to go for a co-workers & I. I started smelling scorched food on drive back to work and when I picked up the bag, grease had soaked half way up bag and through bottom pooling on seat of my truck. Tacos smelled scorched, tortillas were orange and dripping grease. We could not eat tacos. I called Granzin and Mgr. gave me a credit and apologized. When I went to pick up my credit, Granzin tried to give credit in 3 more chopped beef tacos. I said, "No Thank you" and left.

Granzins it the barbeque place to tie on the feed bag. It is better than lockharts barbeque 10 times over.

I love the Turkey Breast sandwich with mayonnaise it is to die for. The tea is the best in Town.Now they have Breakfast Tacos the Granzin and cowboy or very good.

Food is great, i was affraid they would lose quality when moving to a new location. they maitained the country atmoshere. the windows in the dinning room looking into where they do the smoking of the meat was a great idea.its pretty neat to watch. theres unlimited amout of there imfamous tea i love. everyone in new braunfels knows it!

Had the two meat plate today, with a baked potato on the side. It was the tenderest beef snuggeled next to the very moist and tasty chicken that I have had in a long time. all the sides of beans and potato salad was great. The potato was cooked just right, not over cooked. I now enjoy being able to sit down and eat the food in a wonderful dining room. The tea was also good as always. so if you come toNew Braunfels, be sure to come here......

I was afraid Granzins would lose something when it moved, like raising prices or lowering quality. they didnt seem to do either. They did lose some of that hole in the wall feel, but they more than made up for it by having an actual dining room. I always wondered what the food tasted like hot off the barbeque, now I know.As a long time customer I havent found anything I didnt like, but I gotta highly recommend the turkey.

This is truly a BBQ joint. All the western appeal and some great tasting BBQ. New Braunfels is known for great BBQ and this German/Texan does it up right. From the sides to the tea to the main entree'. This place is second to none!
