I moved to Rolla MO. and lived there almost seven years. I then moved to St. Louis and let me tell you I still miss living on the street behind the Knotty Pine. My daughter still lives there and as soon as I hit town that is my first meal and usually my last on the way out. No other sauce has ever been made that is like it and the ribs fall off the bone they are so tender. You get two side with a full order and it is always hard to leave out one of the three best side dishes ever. Potato salad, fantastic baked beans or the cole slaw. My personal favorite is a half order of ribs and smoked sasage with sauce on the side for dippin MMMM. All orders are served with hot pickles and a large onion slice top off with a slice of Texas toast thick bread and you are in Heaven. Now I've talked myself into travel 6 1/2 hours to go visit my daughter haaa.
