I moved to Rolla MO. and lived there almost seven years. I then
moved to St. Louis and let me tell you I still miss living on the
street behind the Knotty Pine.
My daughter still lives there and as soon as I hit town that is my
first meal and usually my last on the way out. No other sauce has
ever been made that is like it and the ribs fall off the bone they
are so tender.
You get two side with a full order and it is always hard to leave
out one of the three best side dishes ever. Potato salad, fantastic
baked beans or the cole slaw.
My personal favorite is a half order of ribs and smoked sasage
with sauce on the side for dippin MMMM. All orders are served with
hot pickles and a large onion slice top off with a slice of Texas
toast thick bread and you are in Heaven.
Now I've talked myself into travel 6 1/2 hours to go visit
my daughter haaa. Knotty Pine sells frozen quarts and gallons
of the sauce and I always take one back to put on my own baked chicke ...

Well I have been eating here for more than 25 years.
In the military I searched for a good BBQ place from Texas to Deadwood
South Dakota. Even while stationed overseas I looked for a good
BBQ place. Found them, but none as good as Knotty Pine.
I will be going there and picking up dinner for the wife and I tonight.

Some of the best BBQ I have been fortunate enough to enjoy have
been little "hole in the wall" restaurants.
This is one of those special places.

Great BBQ! I have found that the best bbq isn't in a big neat
place. It can look grungy and still be clean. When I go to Tulsa
and have a craving for bbq--this is the place.

Good food, the location is in old town. But this what makes it a
fine place. You don't have to have class to go in to this kind of
place. Very nice people, good food, good price.

My coworkers get food from this place often...
I have only tried the brisket sandwich...
(my coworkers favorites)
but it leaves something to be desired.
Hopefully I can try the ribs or something next time to give a better,
more rounded evaluation.

I am not a big BBQ fan, but this is the best BBQ I have ever eaten and
will return many times to enjoy it.

Wow! This is THE barbeque joint (and I mean "joint") in Tulsa!
Don't let the exterior or the locality frighten you off. Best
BBQ anywhere!

This is a very good barbeque restaurant. It looks rough from the outside, but
the food is reasonably priced and the barbeque is the best! They have really
good potato salad too!

He must be a disgruntled x-employee or something... Everybody
I know loves Knotty Pine and has loved them for many many years.
They're a bit of a drive west of the city, but it's well worth it.
Yummy brisket!
