This place is a must if you are in for some authentic cajun style
seafood.Place is right on the arkansas river with bar located
at the entrance. Usually live band is there to provide after hours
entertainment. You get free desert for birthdays.

Bring an appetite and a big thirst. The all peel and eat shrimp
are great the maincourse entrees are excellent, they have a ghreat
band on fridays and saturdays and the ladies are not hard on the
eyes. If you don't have a good time here, then your not alive.
Enjoy!!

My stepfather was an original investor and constructor in this
establishment back in the 1970s. He sold his portion of the ownership
immediately when one of the other owners insisted that on a plate
of 12 oysters, that every other oyster be frozen as opposed to
fresh. I really did not dine there for many, many years after that
for obvious reasons. Well, a former manager before Landry's
purchased CW has come back and opened it again. I dined there on
a recent trip to LR with a large group (18 people). We were accomodated
in a private dining room and were attentively served, as one of
the guests (my cousin) sells wine to this restaurant. I was very
pleased with one of the appetizers, an artichoke dip with a pico-de-gallo-like
kick to it. My entree was OK as far as flavor, but the shrimp was
a bit overcooked and tough (perhaps they are using frozen seafood
again?) Overall, I thought it was OK. It's a toss-up as to whether
I'll return there on my next visit to LR.

This place is an embaressment to locals all over the city. The
food is like Red Lobster times twice the money.
When will a local chef learn from our southern neighbors & bring
some "real" crecent city cookin' to Central Arkansas.

You never really know what you are going to get when you go to Cajun's.
It has been through so many changes since the 70's when it opened.
All you can count on is a good location, on the river. When Cajun's
is at its best, it can't be beat. When it's bad, it's really bad.
