I really liked the pork sandwiches and the ribs are pretty good most of the time. I enjoy the potatoe salad it is just to my liking. If you are passing thru, stop by and try it, you will love it.

The pulled pork sandwiches are very good at Smitty's, but I agree with one reviewer about the ribs: they are tough and tasteless. Additionally, the owner has implemented a quirky little ritual regarding the serving of their hottest two sauces: you must demonstrate to the server's satisfaction that you can handle the heat by eating a sampling of the sauces with a few french fries. The two sauces are EXTREMELY hot, but let's find a way to establish this fact that doesn't embarrass the customer. I will say that the fried crappie available on Friday and Saturday nights is excellent and worth the trip. Their holiday hams are out of this world! Open for L & D Mon-Sat. No alcohol. 501-327-8304

We have eaten there many times, and the food is great! My husband enjoys the shakes there better than anywhere else. They make really good fries. I for sure recommend this place!

The barbeque sandwiches are fairly edible, but the ribs fail miserably. Perhaps the food is better at the other location, but I was not impressed with the food nor the service at the Downtown Harkrider location... There's a tasty barbeque joint in Hoxie, but that's a few hours away from Conway... oh well, let those arteries continue to clog at the pathetic Smitty's!

This resteraunt is set off of the highway going towards Mayflower. They serve any type of foods from hamburgers, chicken to steaks. Their bbq sauce is one of the hottest flavor I've ever tasted.

Some of the best Bar-B-Q in central Arkansas. You just can't go wrong with any sandwich on the menu. I especially recommend a Jumbo sandwich (your choice of beef or pork) with "shack sauce". If you're really hungry try a "Smitty", its HUGE. Their sauce is excellent and if you fancy hot stuff, try their hot sauce, but be sure and have something cold to drink closeby! If you eat in and try his super hot sauce you can win a baseball cap. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Conway, its a real treat!
